Background

Non-scripted Content is a comprehensive term referring to reality-based content. Early examples like 'Big Brother' (1999) and 'Survivor' (2000) played a crucial role in the success and popularity of this genre.
'Dad! Where Are We Going?', 'Running Man', 'The Masked Singer', and 'I Can See Your Voice' are representative Korean non-scripted content shows that have made their marks through format exportation in the world market. In addition to the already existing format of real variety shows, game shows, and talk shows, this content is evolving infinitely into a new form that merges with cutting-edge technologies such as metaverse, motion capture, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR).

The association focuses on expanding global networking and conducting advanced research in humanities and social sciences related to the production, distribution, and reception of non-scripted content.
