Greetings

Welcome to INSCA,
We are living in an era of culture.

Culture is life. It is the wholeness of our lives. That is what we breathe.
Whether it is embodied in the form of art such as music and fine arts, or in the form of food, fashion, religion, or laws, anything related to our way of life is culture. Culture enriches our lives. A happy society is where diverse culture flourishes.

Culture is economy. Culture equipped with creativity and technology becomes an industry that generates added value. We call it the content industry, which is now the largest industry in the world.

Culture is brand. Brand not just of a community but of a nation. European cultures, especially French and Italian, have played a central role in leading the global brands for a long time.
Now, Korea, which was once considered a marginal country, took the place, and has made its brands global. This is the Korean Wave, or Hallyu. Brands are built on culture.

This culture has not arisen from nothing. Precious culture should be nurtured and promoted for further development. It is both our right and obligation to make various efforts to cultivate culture at a community or a national level.

Nowadays, with the advancement of media, cultural content is enjoying its heyday. We can find and enjoy the content anywhere and everywhere, such as on television or social networking sites (SNS). Scripted content has dominated until now, but content not bound by the existing scripted-formats has taken over.
Now is the age of non-scripted content.

YouTube, TikTok, and reality-based content have already penetrated deep into our lives.
The public spends a considerable amount of time on non-scripted content, which is expanding its role infinitely beyond entertainment to diverse realms including information and education.
Korean non-scripted content is getting as much global attention as K-pop and K-drama.

In response to this demand both at home and abroad, the first International Non-Scripted Content Association (INSCA), a non-profit organization, was launched. In line with the growth of non-scripted content, INSCA aims at providing a platform for international discourses that encompass academic research, forum, awards, and festivals, and for the exchange of ideas. This will be an opportunity for professionals in the media industry, researchers, and audiences to have constructive discussion on non-scripted content together.
Furthermore, INSCA will play a leading role in the development of non-scripted content globally.

Content is power.
Content without scripts, content unbound by scripts, that is, non-scripted content leads culture.
We look forward to your interest and support.
Thank you.
